Yeah best of luck with the job, my housemate lost his job because of economic factors so I've seen first hand how much it can majorly suck for someone (not that I ever imagined it was a particually fun experiance anyway).

With regards to expenditure on cels well, I can say that I haven't got a great deal of money at the mo (particually since I just bought a fairly hefty new PC) so mines completely stopped and I haven't brought anything since August. This is a hugely painful as I see soo much stuff I'd love to get my mits on but I just can't right now, even more so now that I've gotten into Bleach, Midori's site right now is a big drool fest (so much so I might fold in a month or so). And the motto of the story, well there isn't one really it's your own perogitive is what it really comes down to. I would suggest perhaps really thinking before you buy, like maybe only go for those cels that really grab you in that way I'm sure we've all felt over the years, but just really think 'do I really want this' or is it more a case of 'well that would look quite nice in my collection.' So there you have it then, really think before you buy and be much more selective if you have to buy at all.

yeah its so hard to let the sweet things to go by. i just have to keep telling myself "this too shall pass"

and ya know i saw quite a few tenchi cels on ebay today for a really low price (so maybe if i wait long enough the prices will go down on my ones i watch?

). and yes youre exactly right, i dont want to build up my collection just to sell it off when i need money. that would be too heartbreaking.

heh, its funny ive been still looking on ebay (just looking!) which i really shouldnt do b/c its soooo hard to look and not buy, ya know? and i saw one that id really wanted but i thought to myself "do i want that because it would look pretty in my collection or that i seriously seriously want it.... it was leaning more towards the "pretty" side so of course i let it go... but there is another one on there that ive been watching for a week now (its been on buy it now for a long time) and i realllllllly LOVE it . so hopefully when all this blows over it will still be on there and i could purchase it (its pretty expensive but its the kind that i KNOW would be with me till death do us part... so *crosses fingers* itll still be there for a long time).
but you know if its meant to be its meant to be. if not its not.
at least ill have my car paid and money in the bank.

Yeah, you'd be surprised by some of the things "coming around again".

Who knows, the ones you miss now, may come along again later on.
And I'm hoping that one you're watching stays put just for you!

I know that dance well. Hoping no one else buys it before you can get the money together yourself and snag it.
