Paypal is seriously pissing me off.....

As many of you know Anicyo now has free memberships. A mass email was sent out stating that anyone with an anicyo account that has been paying for a monthly subscription can cancel it through paypal. I couldn't find how to do it so I emailed Anicyo to ask for help and got no response. Keep in mind I emailed 3 times. Then I do some research and found instructions on how to remove a subscription from your paypal account. In the instructions it states that once you reach the details page of the transaction in question that you can hit the "cancel subscription" button. Where the hell is it? It doesn't exist!!!!!!!

So....I decide to email paypal. There's a paypal contact email on the subscription page. I email them and they said I used the wrong email so please go to the website and click the "contact us" section. So I do that and keep getting this crap:



And when you click ANYWHERE on that screen it logs you out and sends you to the front page. So now I click the help button and get the same damned screen.

So here's to you paypal.....

Guh... I had the hardest time trying to find the "cancel subscription" button too.

I've already canceled my subscription so I can't actually verify if this is the correct way... (canceled it over a month ago... don't remember all the details... ) but when you find the transaction in your history view the details for that transaction. At the top of the transaction details page, there should be a line that says:

"Subscription Payment Sent (Unique Transaction ID: ######)
In reference to: [link]"

Click the [link], and I think the "cancel subscription" button is on that page.

Interesting how paypal doesn't tell you to click that link. Their directions say the button is on the details page. Thank you thank you thank you!!!!

Each time when you get the e-mail from paypal that is called "Receipt for your subscription payment" it has the Payment Details, Cancelling your subscription and the Contact Information from Anicyo all within that e-mail.

This is what it says for cancelling the subscription:

If you want to cancel a subscription:
1. Log in to your PayPal account.
2. Click History at the top of the page.
3. Find the subscription in your History.
4. Click the Details link for the subscription.
5. Click the Cancel Subscription button.

Yep ZS! I had kept my anicyo receipts from paypal and followed the instructions that Kata had posted, but when I had clicked on the detail page then the button was nowhere to be found. They should have mentioned that extra link that VS pointed out. I think what was most frustrating is the fact that no matter what help you link I clicked they were all inactive and logging me out. What good is that?

You know.. I can't tell you how many times I've gone looking for info in PayPal's help system only to find it unresponsive, not available, or if there IS some info there... it's just downright completely useless!

I never received any emails about this… If you didn’t mention it Goldknight I probably would never have known (Thanks!) I guess I need to cancel mine now……
