Evangelion Movies
I am again starting to watch Neon Genesis Evangelion again, but everytime I do watch it I get confused as to where the movies come into it. So I was hoping someone here could enlighten me.

The 1st movie Death & Rebirth gives a recap of the series and then The End of Evangelion attempts to give a better explanation as to what was going on in episode 25 & 26 but still leaves most even more confused.
The series ending on the TV series plays out inside Shiji's head while the 2nd movie shows what was going on in the world during the Human Instumentality Project.
Now the whole series is being redone in a new series of movies. I saw Evangelion 1.0 You are not alone at comic con and it was quite good and takes you from episode 1 thru 6.
The next movie 2.0 You can not advance came out in Japan this June and should be out here some time next year.
