Midori at AWA...?

My flight ran about an hour late, however, it
was a direct flight, so I was home by 4:00. ^_^
The only bad part was that we had to sit on the
plane for a good 45 minutes of that waiting for
the rain to slow down so we could take off. >_<

Midori's flight was delayed by 2 hours. She said
that they sat on the plane the entire time, and the
person behind them was sick - which made them
sick. >_<

It was great to get to see everyone again, and
meet people for the first time - especially Duotrouble!! ^_^
Its too bad the weather was so crappy, however, after
the initial drunken stupor, I had an awesome time!! ^_^

Sorry I'm late chiming in!

I've been on my death bed ever since coming home
from AWA. lol!

From sounds of it, a few of us got a bug as a souvenir from
GA.

Me and rayd had a great time especially hanging
out w/ all you guys!

It was also nice meeting some betarians for the 1st time!!

It was hard for me to adjust coming back to such an unforgiving
place after a week of friends and laughs.
Already counting down for the next big con gathering. ^_~
Yea I concur on the weather, Atlanta seemed more like Seattle
the whole week. >_<
Our flight made it out in time, it was getting to the airport
that proved to be the trickier of the two.
A few highways were shut down due to the flood so the cab had to take
several u-turns and roundabouts to get us to the airport.

Jenn - yeah, sorry about that 5 minute dinner. It was musical gates and times at ATL for sure. And thanks Syan for tracking me down at the other end of the Earth and having dessert with me! It was funny because people at the airport kept asking me if I had a good time at Disney World. I kept thinking WTF? But then I realized my Midori goodie bag had the Stitch anime on one side (all written in Japanese, but...).

Its too bad the weather was so crappy, however, after
the initial drunken stupor, I had an awesome time!! ^_^

The semi-sobers would like to remember your initial stupor as a late night walking tour of the hotel, hotel lobby, convention center, parking lots, foyer, gardens, maintenance facilities, more parking lots and parking structure. Waving your keys and running up to the police car to ask for directions - now that was priceless.

I must say I will never forget my first encounter with Gonzai and jenn-b.

I know how to keep my drink from spilling.

We must do it again when I don't have to drive.
