Having a bad day

I'm literally a bad country western song today. My car's in the shop so I'm stuck with a horrible rental. It's pouring down rain outside so we're under flood watches . . . again. (I'm watching that swimming pool form in my backyard again. ) And my dog is at the vet's office and has been all day getting a new wave of tests. The amount I was planning to spend today on everything actually tripled.

So I'm having a day of I don't care. My entire gallery is up for offers. While I have lost my mind, please understand I will not be selling everything and certainly not for horrible underprices. I also only except PayPal for many reasons. There are no exceptions.

I can guarantee that this offer period will be over by the time I get my paycheck Thursday night/Friday morning so I'd be quick to offer if I were you. I'll have calmed down by then.

i hear ya! i've had a bad day too. i've got that same radio song in my mind right now.

it was raining all day, my car made squeaky engine noises, i was late to traffic court and the ticket from those harrassing police officers in my blog DIDNT get dismissed...

now, not only will i have to pay the ticket plus late fees (b/c i asked for more time to pay) plus court costs-- there's a chance my car insurance will sky rocket and i may or may not get a letter addressing a hearing on whether the dmv will suspend my license.

i hope your week will be better.

I feel a little better now. It really helped to receive so many messages regarding this. Sometimes it gets a little hard to bear all by myself. Today was one of those days. I talked it out with a friend tonight, who helped me put some things in perspective. Most people here know I freak easily when my little doggie is involved.

I'll leave my offer period up for another 48 hours. I have accepted a couple of offers but turned a few down too. I'm not leaving this hobby. I just freaked out today. When it rains, it pours.

ginga123, I heard from several people today that the song was playing for them too. Let's just hope to finish this week on a high note. Sorry to hear about your ticket. At least, you tried.

My offer period is officially closed. Thanks to all who offered whether I accepted them or not.

Charky is feeling so much better. He has a new medication that he takes twice a day that has effected his energy levels. My puppy has come back. He has hyperthyroidism, which has symptoms of sluggishness, lack of appetite, dry skin and hair loss. Check, check, check and check. His appetite is back. His skin is returning to normal. He's bouncing around again. And we have doggie rogaine for him. Whew!

My car is all repaired now. It kind of feels like a new car, which of course makes me angry. I was just about to sell it to buy a new car. Now, I'm going to keep it a little longer just to get some use out of everything I just fixed.

Overall, people have bad days and just freak out. That's all this was. Thanks for the support! It meant more than anything!
