HELP! registered mail???

Hi guys!
i have a question i need help on,
i have to send something registered to japan.

i dont know who (what company) to send it with. i once talked to a lady at the US post office and she said that if i go with them then once it leaves US hands, it cant be tracked anymore (but im going to the post office tomorrow to see if thats totally true).
has anyone sent anything out of country and used a shipping company that could track it wherever it goes in the world?

the lady i am sending it to said to use EMS but i looked online and i cant find an EMS in my area to go to to send my item.
HELP!!!

You can use EMS at USPS. If you look at the Express envelope, it has the EMS logo on it as well.

oh i feel so much better now. lol

its funny because id had EMS deliver me something (bought something from overseas) but id never used them to deliver anything to anyone (and i thought to myself, man they have to have some kind of office or something here because we have an international airport here in town). lol

Normally when this cross borders, on the custom office the sender package code turns to another local code (generally the two letters from the country followed by a sequential number).
So if you send something in HQ Priority from a country that'd become EMS, and reciprocity too.
