Hehh. In anycase, I figured I'd go ahead and post part 1 of "Lori's massive catch-up game" and give a quick and dirty list of cels that I am happy to give a home to. I'm also starting a Detective Conan Section.

For now, please enjoy the new additions. I'm particularly fond of the Slayers cels, Starfighter protecting Sailormoon (only the Starfighter layers) and Usagi cowering behind her bedspread

I've been following your developments (note: no "e" between "p" and "m") on the Rubberslug page, so I'll be brief. I very much appreciate the commentary you provide on the cels. Your remarks on the "out of kilter" part of CCS Ep. 40 (the Dream adventure) are very much on the mark. That's a subtle episode, where the tilted perspective works subliminally on the viewer the first time through. Then, on rewatching, you can see exactly how it signals a change in the narrative. It's similar in some ways to the use of the color red in the movie "Sixth Sense." It "works" the first time through, and then on rewatching you can see how it works. CCS is full of little clever storytelling surprises like this.

And I enjoy your work on providing appropriate backgrounds for your cels. They look very happy as a result, especially URL text your Gourry OP bank cel. The use of a little texture on the Photoshop bg makes it clear that it is distinct from the cel in a nice way. As you know, I'm a purist on the "thingness" of a cel, and don't like Photoshopping that makes the cel look too much like a digital image itself or, worse, a screen grab. But your work avoids this, and really shows off your cels in an enjoyable way. And the replacement bgs also work, especially the Detective Conan example.

Tasty stuff, elegant presentation, no tip expected on checkout. Thanks for sharing.

Nice update. I like seeing the reproduction SM genga -- especially the chibi Nehelenia.
