My Greatest Land Before Time Wishlist

Post by Killua »

It arrived in the mail today. My reaction to receiving it isn't actually what I expected. Rather muted. I guess I'm in a little bit of shell shock.

It comes from rather early on in the movie, when Littlefoot first meets his mother. It's a very precious moment that made a great impression on a little me so many years ago. Certainly it is my greatest wishlist for the entire movie.

The cel comes with the master background which runs 46" in length. I hope to acquire a few more cels from the sequences this background was used for.

Right now though I really feel a certain sense of completion. :)

hey Killua, I know what you mean. When I found my sketches that never would I have imagined I would find, there was an amazing rush. But once I received them, I was still happy, but I wasn't yelling "HELL YEA!" or anything of that sort. Its just the adrenaline fads a bit but it is an awesome feeling knowing that you got your dream cel / sketch.

Looks great, reminds me of watching the movie as a kid.

Wowzers!

You may feel muted (if satisfied) to get this set into your hands, but I think it's a knockout in your gallery. That huge master background is amazing in itself, but having that really emotional cel to go with it is simply stunning.

It is true that after the rush of the win, the delivery is somewhat less of an occasion (except when you're not sure what you won, and in unpacking you find things you didn't expect to get in the lot). But that's to be expected. Getting is the main high. But having is the lasting satisfaction.

Many congratulations!

That's a really, really beautiful piece...
I've always loved this cartoon since I was a child, and cannot watch it without crying when... Well, I guess you know what I mean, let's not talk about it, I don't want tears to come up to my eyes /sob ! lol
It's a strong, moving scene and you're very lucky to have this cel, congratulations ^^ .
