Hmmm I was curious about him, but didn't think he'd go quite that far so soon.
Never trust a manga character who almost always keeps his eyes closed that should be a new motto... I'm kind of curious to know what happens next now as well. It will be interesting to see if Ichigo ends up fighting Aizen or Gin or maybe a merged Aizen/Gin perhaps as a Gizen? Whatever something has to emerge to get whooped by Ichigo. |

HA! I was wondering if someone was going to post about this. I too was wondering if others were as shocked as I was.

I try...
What also hasn't been mentioned for along time:
What also hasn't been mentioned for along time:
The Zero Squad mentioned when we got taken back in time that Aizen expresses surprise at when they're first mentioned. Or was that Ichigos dad, Urahara and Yoruichi etc? Or is that just one of those threads that's gonna just be left hanging for us... I will actually cry if it is ![]() |

I must be all alone in the 'I knew this would happen and was actually impatient for it' section.
This revelation came from, in my opinion....

the fact that the title for this segment is DEICIDE... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Deicide that linked with the fact that Gin's bankai 'Kamishini no Yari' is literally 'God-Killing Spear'. ![]() Of course, I don't believe that Gin will be the final one to take down Aizen, nor do I think that Aizen's end will come in this arc... My one question at the end of this is.... did Gin really kill Rangiku?! ![]() |

I severly doubt that last point.
she's one of Tite Kubos favorite characters, so I seriously doubt he'd have his favourate piece of blonde mega honey killed off |
I know what Deicide is, I just thought that it was merely stating that Aizen was going to be killed off by someone. I had suspisions about Gin, but hadn't twigged to the naming of his spear I must admit. |

My angle on "Decide" was:
Ichigo would finally decide to stop fighting his instincts and embrace all of his facets - hollow and all. It certainly feels to be heading that way with his current situation. |

Yep, I wondered about the title as well, however,
I was just surprised that Gin went after Aizen. Like Haddock, I just assumed that Aizen would be killing one of the other Shinigami - maybe even Gin. Not the other way around. ![]() that Aizen is dead. |
I also agree that Rangiku is not dead. My opinion has always been that Gin genuinely cares about her. |

I would like to know....
Must be the white hair. That has to be it.
What's the story behind Gin & Rangiku's relationship? When Aizen mentioned it, I was quite curious. I think we need a filler episode about this! And, just for the heck of it, let's make it a gratuitous bikini-filled beach episode! Summer's almost over in Japan and still no Bleach Beach episode?! |

Episode 228 was originally aired in 2009.jenn-b wrote:I'm guessing that you did not see the beach episode #228 - or are you referring strictly to manga?
Either or. If the story starts to focus on Rangiku & Gin, it might make whatever plot more understandable.
But, whatever happened...it must have been positive, at least in Rangiku's favor. She still likes white haired men. |
