I change my avatar about once a year. The previous two were made for me by Vampyreshoujo. One was (Cardcaptor) Sakura doing some sort of dance that was in vogue in 2009 (at one point half the avatars were doing the same little dance move), and the other one was Mayuko (of NieA_7) screaming at the very end of the last episode.

The current one I made myself. It's Nurikabe ("Plastered Wall") from Gegege no Kitaro pounding mochi. (Actually a potent magic spell called "Reverse Mochi Kill" that's made by mashing squished eyeballs with rice paste ... details to come in the Mardi Gras Update now in progress.)

Prior to that, it was both Mokonas from almost every CLAMP work and then it was a munching Mijumaru (Oshawott) from Pokemon Best Wishes.
