New Additions - Trinity Blood and Hakuouki
I've started several listings on EBay with my new ID: jbcicoria
So far, everything is just Vampire Knight. I'll probably add more from my site shortly.

So far, only one of my auctions is showing up under this header. I'm hoping that more pop up soon!

Re: Tons of Vampire Knight Listed on Ebay
I know I am getting older, and my vision is not the best, but I am not seeing any items under that link.

Seriously. What the hell. Now it may take 24 hours for listings to show?!?! Handy. Thank the gods I didn't list the auctions for 3 days!

Re: Tons of Vampire Knight Listed on Ebay
I recently listed some items on ebay as well. I didn't have to wait for the listings to show, but b/c I don't sell often my payments were held by paypal until they can confirm delivery. So far, I have a paypal balance for only one auction and that one was paid last Saturday. Since you started a new ID, I have a feeling this may happen to you as well. The rule is stated as...jenn-b wrote:Seriously. What the hell. Now it may take 24 hours for listings to show?!?! Handy. Thank the gods I didn't list the auctions for 3 days!
Beginning on April 15, 2011, for sellers with a limited selling history, funds show as pending in their PayPal accounts for a period of time to allow for successful fulfillment.
As a seller, you will have an established track record when all of these conditions have been met: It’s been 90 days or more since your first sale, you have more than 25 sales transactions and more than $250 total sales.
Based on your shipping method and the shipping information you provide, here's when your funds should be available:
3 days after we can confirm the order was delivered, if you pay for shipping and print labels on eBay, or if you ship directly using USPS, UPS, or FedEx and manually enter your tracking information into My eBay. The eBay label printing service is free, your tracking information uploads automatically, and you'll get funds to help cover shipping.
7 days after your latest estimated delivery date if you don't upload tracking information but you mark the item as shipped in My eBay.
21 days after your buyer pays if you don’t upload tracking and you don’t mark your item as shipped in My eBay.
Please keep in mind that it might take longer to get your funds if your buyer reports a problem with the transaction.
It's buried in the selling info, but easy to find after you have already sold items. it's a very annoying rule I did realize until I sold something.

Re: Tons of Vampire Knight Listed on Ebay
Shitty. Absolutely shitty. All of this crap and they do absolutely nothing to protect sellers. It's all about the buyer. And the seller is the one paying all the bills! Sorry....just annoyed.
On a side note, the listings are finally showing.

yeah, you're absolutely right there, I sell alot on ebay, and while I havent had the issues you and AO had,jenn-b wrote:Shitty. Absolutely shitty. it is soooo true that ebay is all about the buyer, they tend to villify the seller every chance they can.
The only good thing is the auctions can get seen by alot of people, and their free listings help alittle, but the final fees
are pretty heavy

Not exactly true....Do what I do and DON'T. Simply do NOT use Ebay. There are other auction sites out there. All that needs to happen for Ebay to wake up and realize sellers won't put up with these shannanigans is for sellers to not sell. No income = Ebay will change their tune FAST.teggacat wrote:yeah, you're absolutely right there, I sell alot on ebay, and while I havent had the issues you and AO had,jenn-b wrote:Shitty. Re: Tons of Vampire Knight Listed on Ebay
ebay will still win out in the end because, to be honest, it is easy to use and seen by the most people.Drac of the Sharp Smiles wrote:Not exactly true....Do what I do and DON'T. I used one other auction site for a few items, that was a complete waste of my time, no one looked at the stuff,
ebay still generates the most trafffic, is the most well known, if you want to off something quick, its still the best shot..
Sorry to go off topic, this thread is to let everyone know about jenn's listings, and some really sweet pieces too!

Re: Tons of Vampire Knight Listed on Ebay
I'm going to help hijack Jenn's thread too.
I recently listed on ebay as well and didn't run into any problems. My money is sitting in PayPal waiting for me to take. But I do understand what ebay is doing. I don't necessarily agree with it but I understand. I've been screwed over by a new seller. If these rules were in place, it would have never happened to me. In Jenn's case though, I don't see why they can't link her old account and remove all the restrictions on her new account. For AO's case, I don't see why they can't see she has a long, good track history.
Stop using ebay isn't the answer. Ebay is well-known, well established and seen worldwide as a great place for auctions. Their business has really expanded over the past decade to where they seem to be forgetting that the majority of ebay is regular people selling items and not big coporations. I think they should have the higher fees for the companies and smaller fees for the everyday person. But again, I know they are a business and that's just not how businesses work.
All that said, I'll step off my soapbox and hand the thread back to Jenn with one final note. Good luck on your auctions, Jenn!
