Awww who else would I be posting for? Saitou of course! This time from Hakuouki. I actually got one of my wishlist scenes from the series so I must post here to let everyone know. Basically it’s the final scene of Saitou from when he is left behind in Aizu and helps Hijikata escape. There’s a lot of confusion as to what really happened in Aizu and why Saitou did not go with Hijikata to Hokkaido. Some said he was MIA and thought dead – so got left behind. Some said he had a fall out with Hijikata and left with 10 or so men. Some said Saitou was such an Aizu loyalist that he wouldn’t leave. While some said the separation was mutual.
I like to think the separation was mutual – even a tactical one. I really liked how Hakuouki reconciles that confusing episode of the Shinsengumi’s history. Ah well... Here it is... http://hajimenokizu.rubberslug.com/gall ... mID=340038
