Small, but significant update (new cel 3/30/12!)

Post by ReiTheJelly »

Heh, I finally requested shipping from Rinkya and now have my lovelies in my hot little hands! While not high in quantity, I feel the quality of these additions more than makes up for it. Some of these items I have hunted for many years, so it is especially exciting to add them to my gallery!

CCS: The Mirror

CCS: The Twin

CCS: The Sweet

CCS: The Maze

Crest of the Stars

Nice additions,

I am drawn to "The Sweet" hanken sketch, nice detail and color. I am sure it would be fun to find out where it was used for and find a copy of the final piece.

JWR: Yes, I'd love to know where that hanken was used. I'm pretty sure it is a kid's book, but I'm not 100% positive. Perhaps if I dig around online I can find something. :)

Tex: Thank you! I'm so glad you like my newest card cel additions.

Congratulations for your latest acquisitions Rei.

Each are stunning in their own unique style & subtleties, it is hard to lockdown an outright favorite from this latest batch.
I really liked both your new 'Mirror' Cel as well as the dramatic 'X' addition.

Shampoo: Yeah, the cards are getting harder to find (and therefore, more expensive). Which is somewhat ironic, since I initially started collecting the card spirits because they were cheap and plentiful! :rollin

Quacker: Thank you! I have a hard time picking favorites, too!

Tex: thanks, hun! :cheers

Toonybabe: CCS is not for everyone. Some of the voice actresses have *very* high-pitched voices, which can honestly grate on your nerves. But the over-all plot of the series is amazing and I'd recommend that everyone at least give it a shot. It is a wonderful series, and if the VAs drive you nuts, I'd say go find copies of the manga instead. :)

I'm a Unico and Alvin & the Chipmunks fan. High pitched voices don't bother me. :D
