Its summer clean up time and I'd like to get a few bucks for my coming up college classes so I posted some scaled figurines on ebay. pretty sure no body would care, but in case anyone interested in helping me find new homes for them, my place is too crowded lol :

Crikey...This hits me in my weak spot. It's interesting to see a familiar name here. ;D I still half-regret not getting that Vampirdzhija figure you were selling on MFC back in the day.

well if it isn't one of the figure masters on MFC
its a small virtual world lol I always thought these are two diverse hobbies and few can appreciate both at same time, but I see occasional exceptions every now and that makes me wonder. anyhow, very glad to see you here!
and I much rather ship domestically so feel free to throw in a snip or two if you see low prices at the end of something you want.

lol, you're too kind. "Master" is perhaps the most generous way to spin a guy's lack of self-restraint so thank you. ;D Yes, at first glance these seem somewhat diverse but they do fall upon the same spectrum [art] and share the same medium [anime] so, in a sense, it's equally surprising that there aren't more omnivorous fans out there. If anything, cel collecting seems like a direct analog to collecting art books (albeit a bit more hardcore). Anyway, I'm glad to see another omnivore in the wild. Cheers!theultimatebrucelee wrote:well if it isn't one of the figure masters on MFCits a small virtual world lol I always thought these are two diverse hobbies and few can appreciate both at same time, but I see occasional exceptions every now and that makes me wonder. anyhow, very glad to see you here!

Haha, I'm another omnivore ^_^ I've been collecting figures for about 7 years under the same name (http://myfigurecollection.net/profile/KuroiTsubasa4). I'm cutting way back and focusing more on cels now though because figures pose more of a space problem. I hope to buy a house someday soon and build one room that's got a whoooooooole lot of shelving. I collect art books too, ahahaha, and I have a decent sized manga and dvd collection, hence the mighty need for shelving.

Boy your Asuka figure is tempting since it is from several years ago. Oh the joys of collecting multiple things!

This is why most of my Eva collection has to be boxed, I simply don’t have space for it. Has that stopped me from buying more since, no.KuroiTsubasa4 wrote:I hope to buy a house someday soon and build one room that's got a whoooooooole lot of shelving. Yay, yet another omnivore! A very nice collection. I see a lot of figures we mutually like. I guess I should have posted a link too: http://myfigurecollection.net/profile/Tsunami3k I've got a pretty good collection of anime on DVD and BD, quite a few OSTs, and a good lineup of art books and figures. Cels I'm a little weak on but I'm working to fix that.KuroiTsubasa4 wrote:Haha, I'm another omnivore ^_^ I've been collecting figures for about 7 years under the same name (http://myfigurecollection.net/profile/KuroiTsubasa4). I've got a house with a den serving as a dedicated anime room but it's overstuffed with the overflow now basement-bound. I'd love to get a pile of Ikea stuff to get things more organized but my four nearest stores are 450 miles (+/- 10 miles) away from me and their shipping costs are brutal. It's hard to dump a lot on shipping when there are more cels/DVDs/BDs/artbooks/OSTs/etc. to be had! ;DAR-99 wrote:This is why most of my Eva collection has to be boxed, I simply don’t have space for it. omnivore is who we are. I think cel collector generally has a different mindset and expectation than average figure collector due to the differentiation in supply and demand, afterall, waiting years for a wishlist cel to show up is different than waiting years for a good deal. think that might be a big reason that pushed the two collections apart and made people like us extraordinaryTsunami3k wrote:Yes, at first glance these seem somewhat diverse but they do fall upon the same spectrum [art] and share the same medium [anime] so, in a sense, it's equally surprising that there aren't more omnivorous fans out there.

I'm looking forward to ship the figure to youYep, I've already bookmarked your Alice!
