I don't post my updates very often, but this one is kind of special.

Many of you know that my brother passed away a couple weeks ago, so I had
to make the trip back out to California for his funeral. What most of you dont
know, is that I was in California a few weeks prior to that at AX. I did something
totally out of character for me, I brought along a book of artwork. 43 sketch
sets to be exact. Well, on the way back home, I left the artbook either at the
airport or on the plane - who knows, however, it seems to be lost for good.

Anyway, when I was in California, for the funeral Linda (AnimeJewell) invited me
out for a wonderful dinner and a movie. She wanted to help cheer me up, since it
seemed like only bad things were surrounding me. Before we left her house, though,
she pulled out her art books for Yamato Nadeshiko, cause she knows that is the one
show that always cheers me up. So, not only did I get to laugh and admire her
lovely artwork, she also sent 7 sets home with me because she was feeling bad,
and she wanted to make me feel better.

Now that is what I call a really great friend. So, in honor of my good friend Linda,
I wanted to share this update with everyone. Thanks again Linda - you are the best!!

I am so, so happy that you got some cheerfulness and good-feeling vibes, along with such a beautiful and thoughtful gift. Kind of like a little ray of light in amongst the dark times.

Aww, what a sweet thing to do! Glad you were able to meet and take your mind off of these recent bad occurrences. I've never seen that show, but the sketches look great! Hang in there and we'll be here for you!!

Thanks for the posts guys. Linda has always been very supportive of me.
I think that some of the friends I have met in this hobby have been some
of the best friends a person could ever ask for. Makes me feel blessed!!
