I saw this the other day on eBay, and figured perhaps some folks here would be interested -- apparently, starting Jan 27, USPS is introducing delivery confirmation on First Class International shipments (to Canada at launch, other countries to come -- I'd imagine that major European countries will eventually be a part of this, but the usual troublesome countries will not):

I know I'm looking forward to this, as it will greatly assist eBay sellers when shipping FCM Internationally -- at they very least, you can allow only buyers from specific countries to which the Delivery Confirmation service is available, to purchase First Class International postage
