All the others now have at least the minimum three contenders. However, the following categories could use an entry or two to bring the field up to five contenders. Otherwise, the number of tropies given in these areas will be reduced (3 entries - first only; 4 entries - first and second only).

At this time, the category that has fewer than 3 entries is Insanity

"Insanity" has now been (minimally) filled. However, it and some of the other lightly entered categories (especially "Fan Art," and "Funny") could use a few more entries.

Just five hours to go before entries are closed!

The entry period is now over. Thanks to a generous set of last-day entries, we now have 251 entries by 40 contestants. All categories received the minimum number of entries.

After a brief check to ensure that everything is OK and handle any last-moment problems (if any), we will open the contest site for viewing on Monday. Voting will begin February 4 and conclude on Feb. 10.

Contestants: please check to see that your entries were successfully uploaded and in the right size and categories. Images that came in over the 600 px. limit for standard size or over the 800 px. limit for oversize were resized during the approval process.
