Lots of stuff for sale/offers/etc -- please read!

Post by zerospace »

Please read EVERYTHING below before you send a PM or email!

THE CHOPPING BLOCK (best deals):

My husband and I are still working on a very massive slimming of our gallery, and there's a few series that we're looking to unload a lot of artwork from. I'm in the mood to deal on some of this stuff, so if you have any interest in anything currently in the following section of our gallery, please contact me:

http://www.zero-space.net/gallery2/cats.php?cid=14

If there's anything in the chopping block that you've had an eye on, but we haven't agreed before on a price, try again. Seriously. I may take you up on it now. I'd like to make some space to unload even more stuff out of the main gallery. If you ask for a price, I'll probably quote you what we'd really like to get, so for the best deals, make offers, folks! You'd be surprised what I'll sell some of these for at this point.

--------------------------------------------------
THE MAIN GALLERY, OFFERS, ETC.

That aside, we are considering (and starting) to pull a lot more artwork from other sections as well. Sections specifically under review for massive thinning:

Fullmetal Alchemist (http://www.zero-space.net/gallery2/cats.php?cid=10)
Gundam (http://www.zero-space.net/gallery2/cats.php?cid=16)
Tenchi (http://www.zero-space.net/gallery2/cats.php?cid=28)
Yu Yu Hakusho (http://www.zero-space.net/gallery2/cats.php?cid=24)

We may thin most other sections to just a few cels in each, too. We've come to realize that there are just a few sections of our gallery that we're really attached to, and those are listed in bold below. The rest need to go for the most part (or be thinned to just a handful or less in each). So, right now if there is ANYTHING in our gallery that you are interested in, please let us know (if you really want us to take your interest seriously, make an offer -- requests for prices often result in nothing). We really are looking to thin our collection a LOT.

The only sections that you should probably not bother asking about are: Gundam Wing, Macross/Robotech, Voltron, Transformers, & Yamato. Most everything else is fair game.

I would very much like to raise some quick cash this month without resorting too much to eBay, so now's the time to talk! Payments are via PayPal, and payment plans may be an option on a per-deal basis, so if you want one, let me know up front! Shipping can be part of the deal, too, depending on the circumstances. I don't bite, I promise! I've gained a pretty solid reputation for being an easy going seller on eBay (unless of course you're a reseller, and in that case... stop reading now. I don't sell to resellers. period.)

Main gallery link: http://www.zero-space.net/gallery2/index.php (This is for everything else we have. Feel free to inquire about anything NOT in the above-listed-in-bold sections)

If you made it through all that, kudos! PM or email me if you're interested in anything! :)

Thanks everyone, for the interest -- I believe I've responded to all requests received thus far. I'm also still listening to any interest, offers, etc. We aren't selling everything, just potentially a lot of stuff. And if you're asking about some of the nicest pieces in a particular section, please don't expect them to come cheaply, as some of those are likely ones we're looking at possibly keeping. ;)

Thanks again! :)

Again, many thanks for all the interest! We've completed a few transactions and everything that has been paid for has been shipped out. :)

We will continue to listen to offers (as discussed in my first post) for the next week or so. From there, we will stop accepting offers and just start pulling what we'd like to sell. I may launch a somewhat re-vamped direct sales page at that time as well.

Update -- before you contact us:

If you are going to use the email form on our gallery site to contact us about artwork for sale, please SIGN YOUR MESSAGE (you know, the big "message" field on the form) with a name & provide LINKS to the cel(s) you are asking about! This is an e-mail, people, not a text message or an instant message. We don't know you, so getting an email with your (hopefully correct, sometimes not) email address on it plus a "I want to buy your *insert random unlinked cel reference here* cel." message is hard to respond to without knowing who you are & exactly what cel you are asking about! Thanks. :hurt: X|

I'm sorry that I have to say that, but we get so many messages through our site that are nonsense, and we need some way to know that you are legitimately interested in something (and, of course, what that something is). Any messages that are received after this posting that are written like an anonymous comment on a news article online and not an email will be ignored.

And just so I'm clear on what I'm asking for, here you go:

Example of a good message:
Hi,

I saw you were selling stuff, and I'm really interested in this cel: http://www.zero-space.net/gallery2/disp ... itemid=160 . How much would you want for it?

Thanks,
Jane

Example of a bad message:
Hi.. I'd like to buy your really cool cel of the girl from Tenchi Muyo. How much do you want for it?
Note the difference between the two. Neither are rude, but obviously the first one is easier to follow. First, I can see that Jane is the person contacting me, and she gives her gallery link AND a link to the cel she's interested in. I can easily check everything out and respond in a timely manner to her. The 2nd message is iffy. There's a bunch of girls in Tenchi, and we might have 20 cels in that section. Combined with no greeting or signature or anything identifiable, I'm apt to just ignore it completely, because the person comes off as not being particularly serious.
