Cel/Douga Secret Santa?

I know the holidays are about 2 months away, but would anyone be interested in joining me for a Secret Santa program this year? I was browsing through YJ and noticed a lot of douga and cels from relatively unknown/unpopular anime for a couple hundred yen and thought it might be nice to pick up something like that. While I'm sure it won't be on anyone's wishlist, maybe the exposure to a new series would be fun. And who doesn't enjoy getting something that isn't a bill in the mail?

I was thinking limiting the expenditure to 1000 yen (maybe $20 if bought on E-bay?) to take advantage of certain deputy service's discount fees, and because, with shipping and deputy, it'll probably turn into a $25 purchase. Also, no random body part sketch or cel. You should be able to look at it and go "Oh, that's a girl!" or something like that.

I don't plan on distributing names until December, but in the interim, if I could have everyone who is interested send me their address so that I can forward it to your SS, I would appreciate it.

This sounds like a really great and festive idea! I always wanted to do a cel/douga secret santa. It'll be fun seeing what kind of production art/series you get! I'll sign up for this too. ^_^
