When I grow up, I would like to be as productive as JD when it comes to scanning.

Behold! My Pile of Shame!

(Shudders to think of what that pile would look like if I included "things I have not yet updated")

Surprisingly, there's only a handful of shikishi in there and one cel. Nope, these are backgrounds and background layouts. Right now, I am using the excuse that it is summer and I do not want my computer to overheat while scanning.

JD, some other people I know that won items on the BWA just received their bill from Mandarake this week, so it is not just you receiving slow service. Everyone is.

Blah I'm not feeling too productive, my to be posted folder is depressing. Scanning it and putting away is important though so I try to get that out of the way as soon as possible. Then I can feel accomplished cause I won't be buried in paper and plastic. ^_^;;

You can tell what a person's favorite thing is when you look at the to be scanned pile, mine are obviously the things I've been collecting the longest, SM, CCS, DBZ, and GW - because basically less than a tenth of that pile is those. And yours is obviously the original sketch as you only have 5 shikishi to get up!

But we need to get our rears in gear!

I'm still allowed to pout though, right? I wants my new baby! ^_^

Okay so I HAVE been updating on RS but have not posted here... So I guess this will be the month in review cause I have not collated everything here since 8/16. so here we go!

There is a lot to go through so I will try to be brief... There probably won't be too many more updates this week because I am leaving for Yaoi-con on Thursday night and I have a lot of stuff still to do. But there is a pretty good mix here from a lot of series, to tide you guys over! The next few updates will be paper heavy, so enjoy this cel heavy update, there are a smattering of cels that still need uploading, however they are mostly sitting in the to be identified pile. I have a good idea I just haven't broken out my DVDs yet. ^_^;;

DAYUMN! I'm not even a SM fan but Jade those cels are gorgeous! I love how there's a colorful, beautiful & happy hanken, and a dark, angry juxtaposition in the second cel!

Thanks Goalie! I have been in awe of the Hanken since she hit my doorstop prolly one of the prettiest pieces I own now! And I agree the juxtaposition with the Movie cel makes for a very interesting contrast.

Thanks Majin! ^_^ LOL I thought about collecting Veggie once and then $$$$

So I decided to only collect Goku, Veggie may sneak in there from time to time but only if he is there with Goku and I think it only happens once in my whole collection...

Goku used to be cheap but the last few months have been very upsetting, and there is so much overpriced stuff out there right now I have to wait for prices to come down again. So additions to my DBZ collection are going to start being more sporadic while the market is so hot. I keep losing to resellers cause I know if I go higher then I will be mad with myself, with fees and shipping, and then it ends up on eBay! Argh!

The Jupiter hanken is absolutely gorgeous! I'm not a SM fan, but I was waiting specifically for you to post it, what with all the conversation on Beta. It does not disappoint. I'd even say it's among the very best items in your collection--and that's saying a lot.

I also love your Sakura additions, especially the Kero, Sakura and Tomoyo. The original background ties the whole thing together very nicely. Beautiful piece.

Yeah it has been astounding the amount of CCS Movie one pieces with their original BGs come up it is a compulsion problem I am like OOOO original matching BG! *yoink*

So... I was an updating madwoman this weekend so I will collate what I've updated since my last Beta update! This one should be mostly paper... So sorry cel fans there are a couple but it's mostly sketches should be par for the course for the next few weeks... I have been on a Saiyuki buying spree... ^_^;; I did also empty one of the deputies last week, and I will be emptying another this Friday... I am going to be buried... I prefer to wait as long as possible before shipping ^_^

Thanks Majin! I do love him he is my my favorite, and I am very weird when it comes to my Goku collection. So it always nice to hear other DBZ collectors appreciate it ^_^

LOL Gonzai, I go in bursts, tons of energy and then nap time. Nap time should be a pre-requisite for all gallery related activities. I will update 3 pieces... then nap... or puppy snuggle. It is very helpful keeping up the energy... Although this one is sitting on my feet cause he is mad at me for cleaning his eyes out... contrary puppy...

Thanks so much for the comment on my Loveless gallery I've been working on it, although I seem to be having the most luck with episodes 1 and 2 for some reason... I'm not sure what's up with that...

BUT, I will keep up the hunt!

The 2 week review! So I emptied two deputies in the last few weeks so I have a ton more to work my way through. I guess I lied I had a lot more cels coming than I thought...

I applaud you're persistence, Jadeduo. I can't imagine having that much to scan at once.

I love the Saiyuki sketches; they are insanely beautiful, and the manga comparisons are an engaging facet to your descriptions.

I am also a HUGE fan of those sketches... MTG is getting mad at me because of all the Saiyuki I'm buying she's like, you should only be buying Jupiter! I'm like spent enough on her this year ^_~ Of course Saiyuki is getting to that point...

The Manga Comparisons I didn't even realize till I found that Photocopied Manga Panel onto the Layout paper, so when I pulled out my Reload volume I was shocked how closely the animation and manga were mirrored. I am going to have to go back in and adjust the Layout Descriptions!! It is so eerie!
