I work with a lot of kids and they love to draw. I was asked the other day how to do an eye and this is a perfect example

This shikishi is pretty amazing, and surely a treasured gem in your collection: http://kathpatty.rubberslug.com/gallery ... mID=296641
I think I have the first Vampire Hunter D novel tucked away somewhere. I should probably actually read it one of these days.

Glad you are giving Mysterious Cities of Gold the respect it deserves. That was one of the central group of 80s anime that paved the way for the bigger Japanese anivasion of American popular culture in the next decade. And without the big international success of this series and the boost it gave Studio Pierrot, we'd have no Hyper Police, Tenshi ni Narumon, Bleach, Hikaru no Go, Saiyuki, Naruto, etc. etc. etc.

Impressive Ninja Scroll collection! Love the intensity in this one, and the monochrome making it extra dramatic.

Wonderfully wistful photo image of Kana, Hatori's tragic love, all the more evocative for those who love the manga.

A new series for me and very funny: I expect this is what it might well look like to go to work one morning in the "shoujo anime" division of a publishing company!
This game has gotten a little tricky to continue, because the new format no longer gives you a direct link to the poster's gallery (though this can be gotten by clicking on the poster's userID and accessing the gallery from the user's profile). Anyone wanting to carry this long-lived game forward might just want to add his/her gallery's url at the end of your post. My gallery is hot-linked from my signature, so just click on the image below to go there.
