I’ll probably say yes and just never follow through like I do every year...
Are people just taking digital photos instead of scans these days? It seems way less invasive, and an easier way to deal with oversized pieces.
Is 2021 finally the year I digitize my collection?

I bought a scanner since I do not have an area with adequate lighting to just take photos, I will always have that glare.

Re: Is 2021 finally the year I digitize my collection?
I have a few items that slipped out of the usual scanning order and still need to be done. But I don't regret the time that I've taken to image, describe, and inventory my collection. It is a daunting task, but taken a little at a time as a collection grows, it becomes easier and more and more useful. I do admit using my Rubberslug gallery as a more easily searched and graphic-intensive alternative to my spreadsheets (and especially my archive boxes and cel portfolios). But I do now have a pretty good idea of what all I have and where I can find it.
