I remember reading a cool idea from SaiyanWolf, who suggested getting the sketch a little wet to remove it- destroys the sketch, but doesn't damage the cel. I thought that was a purty cool idea.

Well I didn't vote because it depends. Sometimes it is easy to remove the sketch and not damage it or damage the part of the sketch that the drawing is on. But sometimes the sketch is really stuck. I also take into consideration how detailed the drawing is. I have one cel of Krillin that the sketch is really stuck and it has alot of detail to it and shading. It is really nicely done and I refuse to remove it. But I have had ok sketches and removed then. Most I saved but one I think got destroyed.
I tried to save it,but it was too late.
Now I also try to find cels that the scetches are not stuck to them, but you know that dream cel will come along and if it is stuck the so be it.
I also will not remove the sketch if the cel will be ruined in the process.
I will suggest this though, if you are going to remove a sketch I would do it when it is cold out and the cel is cold, not in the summer when it is hot and humid. You are more likely to ruin the cel when it is hot and humid than when it is cold out. At least that is my experience.

I didn't vote because my option isn't there.
I simply remove the sketch. Nearly every time I have done this, it has come off without damage to either the cel or the sketch. It just takes patience and a steady hand.
