Poll on some of the lesser fights in DBZ

Okay - just interested in some peoples preference to some of the
"pass the time" fights in DBZ....
I will keep this one within the Buu Saga...

and won't include all lesser fights... just some... makes it easier to choose from.
Mine would be Gohan Vs Buu....
love the music... - and Gohan's no nonsense attitude...

That is easy. Everyone knows that the Buu and Gohan fight was just a
pass the time fight before introducing vegitto. Where as Pikkon Goku
was introducing a new character and his powers. So no question. Pikkon Vs
Goku has my vote

Jon... The fight between Pikkon and Goku...is more of a pass the time fight than Gohan Vs Buu.. you just don't want to accept it.

WHAT??????? Think about it Mr. Haar All it is, is a fill in fight just to warm
buu up before fighting vegito and becoming kid buu. Buu isn't even at full
power. All that happens in that fight is it makes buu a little stronger which makes no differance in the end because vegito was far stronger. So
gohan Vs Buu is a "pass the time fight"

i really hate to do it but i must agree with jon, the pikkon goku is better hands down, more of a personal thing for me probably, i can never really get behind gohan (maybe it's the fact that even when he's the strongest person in the world he's still a pansy) but pikkon just kicks ass anyway, so even if his fight lasted 3 seconds it would have been higher on my list then boring gohan

Jon... My dear... I think the Gohan Vs Buu fight was at a far more critical part of the plot than Goku Vs Pikkon. Whilst it was nice to see Goku struggle agains the flashy moves of Pikkon... that's all it was. A Mini pass the time fight in a mini saga... Padding episodes...

However for Gohan... we are at a critical part in the plot - with the knowledge that Gohan has the potential to be amazing - I mean look at his fight with cell -

Plus - we had been waiting for AGES to see him fight.. and most of the saga thus far had been him sitting down with Elder Kai. He surprised Piccolo Goten and Trunks... and had his father watching down.

He strolled up to Majin Buu... and smack - showed his awesome power.
Though it was a short fight... I found it more rewarding on many levels.

I guess I am not as flashy as you Jon, I go for substance

Plus it is a new form - the mystic form.

Oh Nathan, I must say that you have made some strong points, but you
are so wrong on so many levels. First of all and I repeat myself the gohan buu fight
proved absolutely nothing he fought let buu get away, let buu absorb gotenks,
then got beat up, then let himself get absorbed. And you say Ultimate Gohan. That is pretty much all you see of Mr Cool Ultimate Gohan
He then becomes a nerd and doesn't fight like a pansy. That fight was a mere warm up
before the much anticapated vegito fight and kid buu saga. It meant nothing.
As for the pikkon fight it was the final fight of a tournament in other world.
The last fight against a character never introudused before, with all these amazing
moves.
And as for the referance to Tasmania. Do I recall that regina is your favorite
housemate

As far as I'm concerned, they're ALL pass-the-time fights until the final battle. What I like about it, especially during the Buu saga, is that everyone gets a shot and gets the chance to show off new powers or techniques. It's what makes this show so great. It's not just "identify bad guy, eliminate bad guy." It's the interaction among characters, the team approach. Well, except for Vegeta.

hmmm...tough question

I really like all those fight's pretty well

But I was looking forward to seeing Vegito and Buu
go at it the most

I really like the other's alot too....Trunks vs.
Goten was cool....as was Gohan vs. Buu and Goku vs. Pikkon...
agh I like them all

But Vegito vs. Buu was what I was looking
forward to seeing the most

Between "Goku vs. Pikkon" & "Gohan vs. Buu"...

If I had to pick one.... hmmm....

I'ld have to go with...

Ultimate Gohan vs. Super Buu

but they both rock!!!!

Personally i prefer the Goku Pikkon fight to the Ultimate Gohan Buu!

I never saw what was so "ultimate" about gohan in that form anyway.

But i voted for the Vegitto, Buu fight.

I love Vegitto, but i thought that his voice should have been a bit more Vegeta given that he looked so much like Goku, and he had that Vegeta arrogance!

I had a tough time deciding between Goku vs. Pikkon or Trunks vs. Goten. I voted for Trunks vs. Goten. Those episodes just cracked me up. I think that's where I fell in love with those chibi characters so it was more pivotal for me.

I really enjoy fights that have a good progression of events - so I chose the Goku vs. Pikkon fight. You knew these two guys were going to go at it, but it progressed gradually towards their battle in regards to the tournament. Then, when they finally faced off, their battle also progressed in steps. I enjoy that in a fight. First Pikkon takes off his weights, then Goku goes Super Saiyan etc, etc. That's my reason for enjoying this fight more than the others. Other factors are that I really like Pikkon, and that I'd rather watch Goku instead of Gohan anytime.
