Brolly or Cell - Who is stronger?

I was reading on another board(hey I was board) and they were
who would win, Brolly or Cell. They were trying to base their
decision on martial skills and strength not popularity.
Though I think most were basing it on popularity

Who do you think would win?

I know I'm going to sound like a major dorkus for saying this but 'Very good question!' - I was thinking about it and if you're going to really analyze this, it appears this movie takes place after Gohan turns SSJ but before he turns SSJ2 - If you take that time frame, Trunks had finished practicing in the ROSAT and neared SSJ2 to the point that he gave Cell a decent fight. Brolly on the other hand kicked the crap out of Trunks, Goku, Vegita, Piccolo, not to mention Gohan all at the same time. The only way they eventually took Brolly out was to channel everybody's combined ki into Goku. Based on that, I gotta go with Brolly - Wow, my turbocharged dork powers are ON TODAY BABY, YEEEEAHHHHH :kamehameha:

I have to disagree and vote for Cell...and here's why!

Broly, for all his power, is pretty much a walking slab o saiyan muscle meat. As such (and from seeing in the movies)...he's not the brightest bulb in the box. He's insanely strong, but that's about it.

Cell is an amalgam of the strongest fighters in the universe, including all our earthbound saiyan boys, plus frieza and king kold, piccolo, and the unlimited power of androids 17 and 18 in his perfect form. And most importantly...he's got a brain!! I can see a rumble between these two ending up either with cell ambushing broly and sucking in some of his essence (in effect adding his strength to his own and defeating him that way), or taking him on in his perfect form and eventually driving broly to kill himself (overextend his powers) or out and out outfox him. I'm not saying it wouldn't be close, but I have to go with the brainer of the two fighters

I found myself having a hard time answering this as well

Being that Brolly is a movie only characther and Cell is pretty much
a series only characther present's some confusion with the timeline.
And if it matters or not, what movie are we talking about. Brolly was
in three

I myself think that Cell would win. I view Brolly as a USSJ in a
time when Goku, Vegita...etc. could only reach SSJ.

Cell on the other hand when in his perfect form rivals a SSJ2,
especially after coming back after blowing himself up. Cell was able
to wipe the floor with both Vegita and Trunks when they were USSJ's
after leaveing the ROSAT.

So in my opinion cell would win.
Though I'd rather see Brolly win just cause he
relies on his own strengh and doesnt get it from
absorbing others.

I said Cell because he is really crafty and even if Brolly managed to do some serious damage, Cell would just regenerate. Cell is also much quicker than a USSJ, as explained in his fight with Trunks, the massive amounts of muscle slow the fighter down conciderably. Also, if Cell thought he stood on the brink of defeat, he would blow himself up, killing Brolly

(I hope this is all right... I haven't seen the Brolly movies... just going with what I've heard)

That would have been a good fight to see. I'd put my money on Brolly. I just rewatched the first Brolly movie the other day and it got me to thinking. It seemed like he didn't even break a sweat fighting them, and yet he beat the shit out of all of them. Heck, most of the time he was laughing. I think he was just toying around with them and never really showed his full potential.

It would be close. In the first Brolly movie, Brolly never even seemed to slow down or loose energy. Cell on the other hand can regenerate plus has every skill known to man.
Hears what I think would happen:
Brolly would probably just keep blowing up Cell until Cell was so powerful that he just destroyed Brolly. So I think brains over brawn.

Cell... He rivalled Gohan in SSJ2 Form... and Gohan got a window of opportunity given to him by Vegita...

Cell had electricity all around him at the end of the Cell Saga (after he came back) Which meant he had the strength of A SSJ2...

I would have to go with Broly because in the second Broly movie Gohan is a ssj2 if im not mistaken and he has a really hard time fighting Broly and he needs more help from Goten and when Gohan was fighting Cell, he didnt need that much help to beat him, he was stronger then Cell in everyway. So i would say that Broly would kick Cells ass. No question about it

Cell...

He can beat brolly, as he beat Goku. Cell would've taken out everyone after he self detonated, cept Goku transported the others. But, Cell can come back after that if he doesn't get killed himself, but, either way, Brolli dies too. Cell has the smarts, think he will come up with a good plan, even if power isnt has high as Brolli. Maybe keep keep transporting till Brolli gets tired, after all he's just saiyajin.
