I have to highly recommend Trigun, and I'd recommend the dub over subs any day.

I also recommend Naruto and One Piece.

Dubbed anime :x , but if you must, then Trigun is a pretty good dub on a fun story. 8)

X TV is a great story and the dub does not make me sick like some do :hurt:

Both are completed series, unlike Inuyasha, so there is no waiting

Hellsing ... you gotta see this... Alucard rocks!!! :D He's like if D from Vampire Hunter D went totally freaking psycho. Crispin Freeman does an excellent voice over for Alucard too. It's not for the easily offended though.
I rented some of Hellsing! Your right, Alucard is one bad moe foe! And the animation rocks!

I hadn't herd of Naruto till I joinded Beta, and I have wanted to see it ever since then. Are they still making the series in Japan? And Baylor did. :D

YES!!! Trigun is awesome! I just got it yesterday, I had bought the Complete Perfect edition off Ebay, and its a great show.

Also I really would really like to get series that are complete. When I was first collecting Dragonball Z I spent $$$$$$ on the tapes. (Because I had to have the cut and Uncut tapes, now I wish that I would have held off so I could have bought them on DVD  )
Anyways, I have bought Trigun, Outlaw Star, and Gundam Wing complete. This is the main reason why I would rather have the Dubbed verson, not only because I don't speak Japanese and I usually work while I watch the shows so my concentration isn't always on the TV. And if I start watching a show I don't want to buy individual DVDs inorder to make the complete series. Okay now I'm kinda confusing myself. :? :)
So I guess are there any other shows that are complete that I could buy? Yep this post is really confusing :D sorry everyone and thanks for your feedback! :D

As far as movies go - "Blood, the Last Vampire" is short but sweet. "Ghost in the Shell" dubbed is well done, but definately better subbed.

I'm not a dub fan...so I can be incredibly picky about what I subject my ears to, so I'll plop down the dubs I don't mind.

Serial Experiments Lain - really complex plotline though so you might have to give the TV your full attention. Nice and dark this one.

Witch Hunter Robin - Think of a paranormal version of CSI crossed with Law and Order.

XTV - not a bad dub, the story though is really good. Just don't watch Episode 0 before you've seen the series because it's a bit of a spoiler.

Cowboy Bebop - the dub is really decent on this one. Jazz and space bounty hunters, very cool.

Hmmm they're more dark series really. I just find the comedy gets overacted to the max in dubs >.<

AVOID LOVE HINA DUB IF YOU DONT WANT YOUR EARDRUMS TO BLEED!

*shudders* Saiyuki dub is pretty horrific too...

A little off topic.

Is anyone else addicted to the opening theme to Outlaw Star?

And if it make you all feel better I like watching Dragon Ball with subs! :P

:topic I do! In fact I included the Outlaw Star opening on my favorite anime opening tape when I mastered a bunch of anime openings onto a SVHS tape two or three years ago.

As far as suggestions go, the non-romantic anime I like have pretty much already been mentioned, but I like --- Witch Hunter Robin, Noir, Cowboy Bebop, Inuyasha, Last Exile and Read or Die (OVA).

Dubbed and easy on the ears.... it's a bit like looking for a needlesized piece of hay in a huge stack of needles... but as far as dubs go and as mentionned before, the Ghost In the Shell movie dub is quite good and makes the story easier to understand...

The Doctor : … and then, just to finish off, I’m going to wipe every last stinking Dalek out of the sky !
Dalek : But you have no weapons ! No defenses ! No plan !
The Doctor : Yeah ! And doesn’t that scare you to death ?
