The Funny Stuff

That's right, Dragonball is not just about fighting.

I thought it would be fun if we all posted the stuff we find funny in Dragonball Z/GT, and if you can find pictures (or Cels) from it, then post them too.

Here is my first one, when Goku first meets King Kai (Dub episode 13):

King Kai is too funny in that episode!

The one scene in Dragonball Z I find to be the most hillarious is the scene where Goku doesn't call the Grand Kai by his right name and instead says "Oh look it's whats his name" or something.. and all the other scenes in the Other World Tournament saga with Goku and King Kai. Hillarious.

Best dub line ever though.... "Look Vegeta! People popcorn!"
or maybe. "Is it over? Not until the fish jumps (fish jumps) It's over!"

Orange, I have never heard those lines before! Where are they found! I must go watch and laugh my arse off!

One of my memorable DBZ scenes is at the end of the Ginyu saga, when Vegeta realizes that Captain Ginyu is now a frog. He follows after him, ready to squash him, and says "Come along little froggy" in a nice Texas drawl.

Which was that from? That was pretty funny!

I like Hercule, he's always funny. My favorite scene is when he is walking across a desert after Buu has killed most of the population. He says " I can't go on. Angel of death take me now." Then Piccolo swoops down and grabs him and Herc yells "No angel of death I didn't mean it!". Good stuff!

I love that line... it was so unexpected! I was laughing so hard I think I scared my neighbors.

Piccolo and Vegeta are sitting out on an iceberg, just floating along. Wasn't that from Movie 13?

The fish line is from Movie 7 (Android movie). At the end with Piccol and Vegeta. In the original they didn't say anything (which is more in character). But the line IS pretty funny. But the dubbing of that movie overall kinda sucks.

The people popcorn line is with Goku and Vegeta, I think, at the begining of the Kid Buu saga... the episode where they make it out of Super Buu and everybody is "popping" back into their larger size. So Goku says, what else? "Look, people popcorn!"

I laughed at the banta between East Kai and King Kai (west?)
About who will win which planet..

I laughed when cell made a comment in his final form to Vegita... I think Vegita gave his best - smoke clears from blasts... and the comment that comes out of cels mouth... (sarcastic cell voice) Super Vegtia...he he he...

I am sure I will remember more later...

Most of the shots of Gotenks and Vegito and funny.

OH! The Incredible Fighting Candy! Not just any candy, I'm a jaw breaker!

There are so many more funny scenes in Dragon Ball though.

i loved that scene

I like when Frieza's about to make he's second transformation, but asks Vegeta for a countdown first
"oh coMe on! theres..no waY, that's rediculous!"
Frieza- "I'm waitiing"
"Ugh! 10-9-8-7-6-5-4-3-2-1, ugh, you happy?"

Also, when Vegeta and Goku are in Buu, when a little green blob jumps on Goku,
"hahaha, ooo he almost defeated the great Kakarot!"
Goku- "get ouuut.."

Ah, so many.

I liked the scene mentioned before, when Goku was offering to let the old Kai see Bulma naked in exchange for the training of Gohan. Oh course, in the American version, he was offering a kiss from Bulma. Either way, Vegeta's reaction when he found out was hilarious!

Oh, and the scene with Vegeta and Goku inside Buu with the big worm type things.

Vegeta: Kakarotto, I think I'm going to puke!

The other scenes already mentioned were funny too, especially that Hercule one ^.^
