Inuyasha or Sesshomaru?

OK! This is an anime convention inspired idea. Well, sort of. I went to an anime convention this weekend and they jokingly asked the question of who's sexier, Inuyasha or Sesshomaru? Well, I thought that would make a great topic here. I really like both of them so I'm interested to find out who comes out on top . . . so to speak.

My vote? Well, I have to go with my first love in this series. Inuyasha!

well i flat out refuse to use the word "sexy" anywhere in this post

but i'm bored so i shall respond anyway, sesshomaru is hands down the coolest character in the show, far superior to his annoying little brother in every way

How about we make a Kikyo or Kagome poll for the guys? Thanks for playing along though.

I guess I can explain my reasons a little more. I like Inuyasha because he is clueless, rude, annoying but extremely loyal and sweet.

Sesshomaru is very cool but he's a little too feminine for my tastes. (Oh I'm so getting flamed on that one.)

There is a certain aura and mystery about Sesshoumaru, but like Erin, I have to agree and go with my first love in this series too, which is Inuyasha. I will say if Kouga was in the poll it might make it a tad tougher to decide, but I think it still would be Inuyasha. That naive quality, along with the "never say die" attitude of Inuyasha always get me.

Well, I voted for Sesshomaru. Character-wise, I actually prefer Inu Yasha, who is probably my favorite character from the show (followed closely by Miroku ... who, like poor Kouga, was left out of the brotherly duel --- LOL). I think Inu Yasha's never-say-die attitude, his sweet loyalty, and his often cluless, naive "macho" side make him much more endearing. Those are some of the reasons I love him much more, and, if this were a choice for favorite characters, I'd pick him, hands-down.

But, I think Sessh is "sexier". He has the "look" ... the hair, the eyes, the better clothes ... the totally bishie attitude ... the air of mystery ... not to mention that he always puts on a convincing act of knowing exactly what he wants for his life ahd who he is. I don't think he really does know, since his personality seems to change slightly over the course of the show ... but no one around him realizes he doesn't, so ... He's like the Inu Yasha "it" guy, you know?

I voted for *surprise, surprise* - Sesshoumaru.
Sure Inuyasha is cute and loyal and very good at protecting Kagome and I wish he'd make up his mind about which woman he wants to be with. Same with Kouga - Ayame or Kagome

But Sesshoumaru-sama,

he doesn't have mixed feelings about anyone, he's like a sexy single dad with a loyal retainer.

My vote is for Sessy. As much as I love and adore dog-boy, Sessy just has this look and demeanor about him that makes him far sexier.

Now if you're going to ask for the sexiest characters in the show, of course I would push for Miroku, with Kouga a very very close second.

Sesshoumaru = drop dead gorgeous. Inu Yasha is too brash for me. I like my men slightly more refined, with some class.
