I've never had a chicken bone stuck in my throat, but I did get a fish bone stuck. I tried to eat bread and drink water to get it loose, but I ended up going to the hospital to get xrays. It came out at the hospital when they had me drink water (too bad it didn't come out at home, it would have save my parents money). It happened a long time ago, but to this day I am soooo picky about the fish I eat.
I'm not sure if I would like to try to eat bread and drink water to get it loose but he or she ended up going to the hospital to get xrays . What's it like?
The Three Laws of Robotics:
1. A robot may not injure a human being, or, through inaction, allow a human being to come to harm.
2. A robot must obey the orders given it by human beings except where such orders would conflict with the First Law.
3. A robot must protect its own existence as long as such protection does not conflict with the First or Second Law.

It came out at the hospital when they had me drink water
I hacked myself raw and drank about a gallon of water.
Wish this bone would come free like that It's been a week now and
all its done was fall down a few inches. I drink water all the time, probably
a gallon or two a day and it's just not helping. I am thinking about trying
to swallow a whole ice cube and hopefully push it down with that.
AAACK! Govo, I can't believe it's still in there!! I'm glad you can't see my face as I read your posts here -- I don't think my nose can skrinch up any further or the grimace get any grimacier! OUCH!!!! Short of sticking a long pair or forceps down your throat, isn't there anything a doctor can do for you?? Maybe instead of water you need to drink something oily/slippery. Ewwww, sounds yucky even to type that! I hope you can get that out of there soooooon! Poor thing!
Yeah, Govogeta ... I was also wondering if the docs could do anything to help you out. I hope it doesn't do any damage to your throat from being in there so long ... and I hope it comes out really soon! It's too horrible to even think about ...
Why do you hope for it does not do any damage to your throat from being in there so long
