1. A robot may not injure a human being, or, through inaction, allow a human being to come to harm.
2. A robot must obey the orders given it by human beings except where such orders would conflict with the First Law.

I had to go look up phlebotomist! It ends up that the job description isn't as bad as I thought it would be! Here's to learning something new! Thanx Not Sir Phobos. I only wish I could help you out...couldn't you call the hospital and make an appointment to talk with one?

I think you'd be good at that. You have the right combination of gentleness and professionalism. When ever I had to give blood or have blood drawn, the best people were those who were fast and considerate enough to distract me from the process. A good sense of humor really helps! :)
