funny you should ask, i just bought the 1st US dvd at best buy and it came with the soundtrack which had the song i was looking for (you feat. kazami). the song you want is called Shiki No Uta/MINMI (song of the seasons). Im sure transmet or another person can tell you where to download it.

I have the two Samurai Champloo Cd's and they are the best! I even play them at some partys (offcourse nobody knows what I'm playing but they like it :D )

I would say, just look a bit on soulseek or something like that, what I did, there not difficult to find :D

If all you want is Shiki No Uta, then you can grab it from kazaa. (MINMI is the recording artist, by the way, not the name of the song.) :^^:

Well, I scoured every nook and cranny I know to look for an easy link to dl this track - no such luck. X|

It looks like you'll have to use P2P - either soulseek or kazaa should have it. :wink:

I was able to find the song on soulseek. It'll be a while before it downloads though - I'm number 736 in line. 8O :rollin

Eh-heh... now would probably be a bad time to say that I just remembered I still have it on my hard drive... and could have emailed the file to you at any time. X| If you're still waiting on that dl, by all means let me know. X| X|

*lol* No problem, Moop. Luckily, the line went really fast, and the song has already downloaded. (That really surprised me too - I figured I'd have to wait a day or so.) Thanks for the offer though! :D

Just got done watching eps. 20-21 and I must say I was pretty damn impressed.
Has anyone else gotten this far yet?
The fact that both Mugen and Jin get their ass handed to them by a blind woman was fan-fck'n-tastic, and the fight scenes were superb. Plus, Jin getting to meet Miyamoto Musashi was a nice added bonus to an already outstanding 2 eps. storyline.
I'm antsy yet sorta sad that the series is winding down. I have a feeling that the last 3 eps. are not gonna be a happy ending. :roll:

eppy 21 was friggen awesome!! that spear girl reminds me of makie in blade of the immortal. the characters now have depth and im am riveted. now if i can just find sketches to collect!

Episode 22 took a turn for the weird. 8O Be sure to watch through the end credits.

I thought so too! Sara was pretty cool; too bad it turned out the way it did. (But, yay, I got to see Jin with his hair down. :love:)

Hey there, having just seen the first 5 eps of Champloo I'm very impressed and will jump on the bandwagon with you guys! [Hence the change of avatar, heh heh] I've got episodes 1-17 on DVD but will wait for a release of the remaining ones ^__^ All's good so far!

I am impressed with the character designs, the CGI anime are looking more and more like US comic books- like Dreamwave Productions anyway which is a good thing because they're so lush and vibrant. No line fading on these images on screen, heh.
Out of the gloom a voice said unto me;
"Smile and be happy, things could be worse".
So I smiled and was happy
and behold;
things did get worse...

Welcome to the fold. :wink: *shakes head at prospect of getting in a bidding war w/ krafty*

I'm hoping we'll have a Champloo section by the time Cartoon Network starts playing these in the summertime.
