Three reasons I am excited about this film...
1. Scully. sigh
2. Billy Connolly is one of my favorite actors/comedians ever.
3. Chris Carter is writing AND directing this film. It is not a mythology story about the ongoing UFO plot. It is a stand-alone story that anyone can jump into.
This should be a very good film.

Took the words right out of my mouth. Don't think Lance is up to it, though (damn shamedude_moose wrote:Looks good, but what I really want from Chris Carter is a Millennium movie!!! grr.

That said, still definitely looking forward to this - and I agree with you BH that Connolly should be a great asset to the film.

Are you mad?

The Three Laws of Robotics:
1. A robot may not injure a human being, or, through inaction, allow a human being to come to harm.
2. A robot must obey the orders given it by human beings except where such orders would conflict with the First Law.
3. A robot must protect its own existence as long as such protection does not conflict with the First or Second Law.

from http://www.millennium-thisiswhoweare.net/Of particular note to fans of Millennium though, Carter also revealed that he has mulled a movie based on Millennium, which starred Lance Henriksen as criminal profiler and family man Frank Black:
"We've talked about that over the years," he said. "Lance would love to do it. I don't know if it would ever get done. It's a long shot. It would be fun. I have ideas about how to do it."
So I guess it's possible, but whether or not it will ever happen...
I miss Frank Black!!!
