Something similar actually happened to me once on another forum and to do with another hobby of mine. But I was the enquirer after the first buyer already paid for the item. I said I would gladly offer that seller 4X the amount they listed and sold their item for but they turned down the money to save their good name and integrity. They could have easily refunded the first buyer's payment but chose to stick to what they thought was right. And they really needed the money for a house payment, too. I'm lucky with this item in that it's not one of a kind; just rare. So next time, because so many people expressed interest, someone's likely to Ebay one of these or take offers instead of just ask for the amount they originally paid.
We can only hope that the seller of the cels in question learns from what happened and from now on honours the first buyer on their cels. At least they got the shipping cels out to people part right lol.
